On Friday, we took a wonderful break about an hour from our home. We spent the afternoon snowmobiling through the national forest. We didn’t have to stay with a tour, so we could just go where we wanted. It was a blast. Here are a few pictures:

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Crhist forgave you, so you also must do. Colossians 3:12-13
As I read these verses this morning, I was struck by the command to put on tender mercies. I am not a merciful person, by nature, so I must trust God to show mercy through me. The theme of these verses is thinking of others first, looking out for someone else and showing kindness to them.
Where’s the first place to start showing tender mercies and kindness?
In your own family!
Do you show mercy, kindness, humility, longsuffering, forgiveness to your husband?
To your children?
To your parents?
To your brothers & sisters?
Focus on these verses throughout the weekend. That’s what I plan to do!

The first internet marketing seminar I attended was 3 years ago. Steve & I bought an eBay product at the conference and it was NOT cheap at $397! After I received the product, I read all the materials, listened to all the cds, and watched all the dvds…in one week’s time. I was hungry to learn. I listed my first items on eBay. Within one month, I made enough to pay for that course and more. By the end of the second month I made $1000 which paid all our travel expenses and registrations fees. After the second month, I was making real profit! That’s right! It only took 2 months to pay all my expenses to that one internet marketing seminar.
