A Surprise Emergency

Monday, March 19th, 2007

I hope all is well in your household. Spring is actually blooming here in northern Idaho. The days have been absolutely beautiful!

I have several things I need to tell you about, so I may send a few emails this week. I hope that is okay!

Steve & I have been planning some special events this spring, but then we had an emergency last week. I’ve spent most of the last
several days trying to deal with it. Noone was hurt, but we are minus a vehicle. We are still sorting the details and I’ll send an email tomorrow.

Faith for Leaders

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

This morning I read some really cool verses that I want to share.

knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

the just shall live by faith Galatians 2:16, 20; 3:11

These verses are actually reminders to me. I memorized them long ago, but God’s Word is always new every morning. The idea of justified by faith is a common one in Christianity, but we often forget it as we carry out our lives.

Do you live by faith? Or by the law? Or by your flesh?
