Snorkeling

We had a lazy morning today…sleeping in which we desperately needed.  We decided to snorkel in Honolua Bay.  We felt like we were swimming in an aquarium – yellow, purple, red, blue fish.  Coral growing on the rocks.  Oh yeah, a blue tuna being chased by a young woman.  Steve told me he saw a blue tuna being chased by a girl and 5 minutes later I saw the tuna…being chased by the young woman.

Then, we headed down the road to see the Blowhole.  It’s a place in the rocks that shoots water up to 70 feet.  It reminded me of  a small Old Faithful in the sea, only this shot up every few minutes.  The views were gorgeous as we drove back to our condo for lunch.

This afternoon we headed to Kapalua Bay for more snorkeling and relaxation.  I tried snorkeling for awhile, but it was a bit murky.  So, I laid on the sand and enjoyed a  new novel, Comfort Food.  Steve snorkeled a little more.  Then, he took a walk, stopping for a drink at the nearby restaurant that overlooked the ocean.  Ashley & I took it easy.

All in all, a relaxing day.
